Volunteers are vital members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix team.  It is through the support of our volunteers - their gifts of time, talent and energy - that BGCMP so successfully “enables young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”

BGCMP volunteers

• Pass a criminal background investigation!
• Complete volunteer orientation!

Steps to becoming a BGCMP volunteer include …

Individuals

• Submit a completed volunteer application
• Submit a current resume or job history
• Schedule a volunteer interview and club tour
• Pass a criminal background investigation – there is not cost to volunteers
• Complete volunteer orientation

You will be contacted once your completed application is received.

Groups

• Contact Volunteer Services to schedule the group’s project
• Submit a completed Group Volunteer Form to reserve the group’s service date & time
• Submit a Special Interest Volunteer form for each team member at least 3 business days prior to the scheduled project

Special Events Volunteers

• Contact Volunteer Services to sign up for a specific event, dmartin@bgcmp.org or 602.343.1210.
• Submit a completed Special Interest Volunteer application at least 3 business days prior to the special event.

   
Interns

• Submit a completed volunteer application
• Submit a completed volunteer addendum that includes a list of completed courses
• Submit a current resume

You will be contacted regarding intern opportunities once your application and resume are received.
