The Story of Angel

When he was 6 years old, Angel joined the I. G. Homes Boys & Girls Club. The Club provided Angel with many things his family was not able to provide. At the Club, he received assistance with his homework, a hot meal every day, and clothing for his school year. Most importantly, the Club provided him with hope and opportunities to succeed.

Today, Angel is close to graduating high school and has become a leader at the Club by helping others avoid the growing pressures of gangs and other dangers. Your donation helps provide kids just like Angel, with the hope and opportunity they need to succeed. Plus, thanks to the Arizona tax credit for the working poor, you can receive a tax credit for your contribution which means free money for you!

How does it work? It's as easy as 1, 2, 3.

  1. Itemize deductions on your federal tax return. The first year is considered your baseline.*
  2. Give your gift. Your donation qualifies as an Arizona tax credit! This, credit, over your baseline and up to $400 married/$200 single, cannot exceed your Arizona state tax.
  3. We send you a receipt and a form for your taxes.
