 EMERGING LEADERS MAKING AN IMPACT

The Leadership Council recognizes top emerging professionals in the Valley of the Sun for their business achievements and community involvement. The program is designed to honor individuals who have a desire to increase their networks, enhance their leadership skills and create positive change for kids in the community.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
• Professional growth workshops featuring guest speakers from organizations
  involved with the BGCMP
• Volunteer activities at BGCMP Clubs
• Social and networking events
• Philanthropic coaching and skill building

ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION
Applicants should be emerging professionals with a desire to increase their networks, enhance their leadership skills and create change in the community. Men and women who are looking to give back to the community while gaining valuable business skills are encouraged to apply. A completed application must be postmarked by August 22, 2012 to be considered. Interviews will take place on September 6, 2012 or September 7, 2012 and will be conducted by a committee comprised of business and community leaders.

PROGRAM COMMITMENTS
The Leadership Council requires a time commitment of two – four hours per month during the program running September 2012- May 2013. Workshops, volunteer, and social networking events will typically take place on the third Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Full attendance and participation at all events is required. If you are unable to meet this commitment, please consider applying another year when your schedule will permit your full participation. Honorees will be recognized during MetrOrg's "The Big Event" in Spring of 2013. Eligible honorees must complete the following:

• An evening orientation in September
•  One business development workshop, seminar, or social networking event per month
• Volunteer events at BGCMP events and Clubs
• Financial commitment of $2,000

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
As part of the Leadership Council program, a financial commitment of $2,000 must be fulfilled by all honorees by May 1, 2013. Funds can be raised through donations, approved special events, or company sponsorship, and will support programs and services for youth in need at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix.
