Jeffrey H. Levinson - Chair of the Board of Directors
Jeffrey H. Levinson, was named Chair of the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix in September 2012. With a passion for helping children in challenging situations, he has been involved with BGCMP since 1997, becoming a Board member in 2004. Levinson rarely misses a BGCMP event and always brings his energy and enthusiasm for helping kids who need it most. As our Chair of the Board, his focus is on raising awareness and funds for our youth. He often can be seen in one of our 12 Clubs, interacting with our young people and staff.
Recently retired, Levinson was an attorney for Anderson, Brody, Levinson, Weiser and Horwitz, a full-service business law firm providing forward-thinking legal counsel to businesses at all stages of their growth and evolution. An active part of our community, Levinson also is a Board member of the Children's Museum of Phoenix and a Board member and national trustee of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Levinson lives in Paradise Valley with his wife, Nancy - an artist who also donates her work to Stars and The Big Event.
Amy Gibbons - President and Executive Director
Amy Gibbons was appointed President and Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix in November 1998, overseeing one of the largest Boys & Girls Club organizations in the country. Mrs. Gibbons has been involved in the nonprofit community for more than 20 years. Prior to her current appointment, she served as the Executive Director of the YWCA of Maricopa County. As a former tennis professional, Amy has been involved with the United States Tennis Association for more than 20 years both as a staff member and currently as a volunteer, and introduced tennis to Venus and Serena Williams.
Mrs. Gibbons is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She continued her education at California State University Long Beach, in the management of nonprofits program.
