In October 2005, the Boys & Girls Clubs launched the “Kids, Clubs, Opportunities” Growth Initiative, led by Chairman Edward Robson. The goals of the initiative are to increase the BGCMP endowment, renovate existing facilities, enhance programming and build three new clubhouses in neighborhoods where the need is greatest.
The new clubs are the Ed Robson Family Clubhouse in the Palomino section of Phoenix, a new Glendale Branch adjacent to the Smith Elementary School, and the Jerry Colangelo Clubhouse in Maryvale.
