The Executive Council consists of 70 working professionals who develop and implement fundraising activities to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix. Taste is the group's premier annual fundraiser. And although the theme varies from year to year, one thing always remains unchanged: the Executive Council's enduring commitment to the youth of our community.
The Taste began as a small dinner party hosted by the Executive Council. Thirty two years later, it's Phoenix's premier spring event attracting an average of 6,000 guests annually. This major event is responsible for funding a great cause-one that benefits the future of children and our community. The Champion's Dinner and Auction takes place one weekend before the Taste of Phoenix event and it includes a memorable dinner as well as an exciting live auction. Every year, the event also serves as the stage to recognize one outstanding volunteer and be named "Champion of the Year."
One of the most recent fundraising opportunities created by the Executive Council is the Fall Classic Golf Tournament. This event promises to become a golfers dream complete with all the fun of this great game.
