Clubs Receive A Gift From the Heart of Cox Charities
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix received a $15,000 gift from Cox Charities this month and, what's most remarkable, is that every dollar comes from Cox employees, Cox partners and Cox customers themselves!
This year, Cox Charities has started a new revenue stream to raise even more money for organizations like Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix. It’s called the Power of One campaign and asks Cox customers to add $1 to their bill payment, which is then combined with donations from other Cox customers, Cox employees and corporate partners to do the most good for Arizona youth and education causes.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix is sharing in $457,500 that Cox Charities is distributing among 80 non-profits in greater Phoenix. In this economy, where the need is greater than ever, we're thrilled to be recognized for our contribution to the community. Funds will be used to support Academic Success programs for kids and teens at our 12 Clubhouses throughout Phoenix and the West Valley.
